Monitoring real-time OEE with ProductionACE OEE REPORTER.

OEE is the actual output of the machine as a percentage of the theoretical output, running at its rated speed and actual available time. Components that affect the OEE are:

Utilization :
("average time up" or "utilization")

The amount of time the machine was actually running as a percentage of time it could have been running.

Yield
("yield")

The amount of good output as a percentage of total output.

Standard Rate:
("rate efficiency") *

The actual speed of the machine as a percentage of the standard machine speed.

ISO and Continuous Improvement programs: you can't improve what you don't measure.

If you're looking for ISO certification, auditors look to implementing systems for continuous improvement--but unless you measure performance, you can't improve it. The documentation requirements ISO demands can become difficult for a company to effectively maintain. Automated tracking of your production process allows you to quickly identify downtime and scrap, letting you focus on determining root causes and eliminating them.

 Quality programs.

ProductionACE's real-time process monitoring capability not only allows you to immediately detect process shifts, but you can also export the data to a third party SQC/SPC application.
